Today we celebrate World Water Day. World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis, in support of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
In 2022, World Water Day is celebrated under the theme “Groundwater: Making the invisible visible”, and UNESCO is the lead UN agency.
In order to celebrate this date at school, Y9 IGCSE Drama Students are working on a theatre representation that will be held in one month at school. Y7, Y8 and Y9 will attend this event to raise awareness on the importance of Water.

Hoy celebramos el Día Mundial del Agua. El Día Mundial del Agua se celebra anualmente el 22 de marzo como un medio para centrar la atención en la importancia del agua dulce y abogar por la gestión sostenible de los recursos de agua dulce. Se trata de tomar medidas para hacer frente a la crisis mundial del agua, en apoyo del Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) 6: agua y saneamiento para todos para 2030
En 2022, el Día Mundial del Agua se celebra bajo el lema “Aguas subterráneas: haciendo visible lo invisible”, y la UNESCO es la agencia líder de la ONU.
Para celebrar esta fecha en el colegio, los alumnos de Drama de Y9 IGCSE están trabajando en una representación teatral que se realizará en un mes en el colegio. Y7, Y8 y Y9 asistirán a este evento para crear conciencia sobre la importancia del agua.
