We experienced a tightly contested qualification phase as our zone had very evenly matched teams. Every match was played with everything left on the field, putting into practice everything trained in the classes. We played against St. Catherine’s, St. Xavier, and Michael Ham, drawing two matches and losing one. These results weren’t enough to advance to the final stage, but we finished our participation with a 3-0 victory against Palermo Chico, a match that brought back smiles and allowed us to secure 3rd place in the zone. After a beautiful lunch with Y5 and Y6, the afternoon turned into a celebration as we enjoyed the excellent play of both teams in the semifinals and finals, cheering vigorously with songs and applause, ending the day in the best possible way. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS!!

Beautiful tournament. We first played against St. Catherine’s, St. Xavier, and Michael Ham on grass fields, winning 2 matches and drawing 1. Having finished first in the zone, we had lunch together with Y4 & Y6. Then we played the semifinal on a synthetic field against Palermo Chico, playing very well and winning 3-0. Lastly, we had the final against Michael Ham, this time with the field packed with people cheering for both teams. The fatigue of the day was noticeable and we lost 3-0. The girls showed themselves to be great players and were able to put into practice everything worked on in class. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL.

The day started cold, but as the matches progressed, we warmed up and enjoyed a day full of hockey. We began early with our classic rival, Michael Ham. In this case, it was a 3-0 victory in a match closer than the result suggests. The second zone match was against St. Xavier, which we won 4-0, securing our qualification. The last match of the morning ended in a 2-2 draw with St. Catherine’s. After finishing the morning at the top of the zone, we enjoyed lunch with the girls from Y4 and Y5 and we had fun in our free time practicing penalty shootouts just in case they were needed in the finals. In the afternoon, the semifinal ended in a 4-0 victory against the host team Moorlands, and in the final, we faced St. Catherine’s again in a very close match which we won 2-0 to become champions!!! The best part of the day was the support from the younger girls who joined in the Northlands celebration. We ended the day with 15 goals scored and only 2 conceded. A beautiful day where the results were just a reflection of the great effort and hard work put in during class. Congratulations to the girls!!

Se vivió una clasificación muy ajustada ya que nuestra zona contaba con equipos muy parejos, se jugó cada partido dejando todo en la cancha y pudiendo poner en práctica todo lo entrenado en las clases .
Jugamos con St. Catherine ‘s, St. Xavier y Michael Ham, empatando dos partidos y perdiendo uno, estos resultados no nos alcanzaron para pasar a la etapa final y culminamos nuestra participación ganándole 3 – 0 a Palermo Chico, partido que nos devolvió la sonrisa y nos permitió quedar en 3er lugar en la zona.
Después de un hermoso almuerzo junto a Y5 y Y6 la tarde se vistió de fiesta al poder disfrutar el excelente juego de ambos equipos tanto en semis como en finales, se alentó a más no poder con canciones y muchos aplausos cerrando la jornada de la mejor manera.

Hermoso torneo. Jugamos primero la zona con St. Catherine’s, St. Xavier y Michael Ham en canchas de pasto, ganando 2 partidos y empatando 1. Habiendo quedado primeras en la zona fuimos a almorzar junto con Y4 & Y6. Luego se jugó la semifinal en cancha sintética con Palermo Chico jugando muy bien y ganando 3-0. Por último nos quedó la final con Michael Ham, esta vez con la cancha llena de gente alentando a ambos equipos. Se notó el cansancio del día y perdimos 3-0. Las chicas demostraron ser grandes jugadoras y pudieron poner en práctica todo lo trabajado en clase. FELICITACIONES A TODAS.

El día empezó frío pero de a poco y con el correr de los partidos fuimos entrando en calor y disfrutando de un día a puro hockey.
Empezamos bien temprano con nuestro clásico rival, Michael Ham. En este caso fue victoria 3-0 en un partido más parejo de lo que muestra el resultado.
El segundo partido de la zona fue con St. Xavier y lo ganamos 4-0 asegurándonos la clasificación. El último partido de la mañana fue empate 2-2 con St. Catherine’s.
Terminada la mañana en el primer puesto de la zona aprovechamos a disfrutar de un almuerzo con las chicas de Y4 e Y5 y de divertirnos en el tiempo libre practicando penales por si fueran necesarios en la definición.
Por la tarde la semifinal fue victoria 4-0 con el organizador Moorlands y en la final volvimos a enfrentarnos a St. Catherine’s en un partido muy parejo donde ganamos 2-0 para ser campeonas!!!
Lo mejor del día fue la hinchada de las más chiquitas que se sumaron al festejo de Northlands.
Terminamos el día con 15 goles a favor y solo 2 en contra.
Un hermoso día donde los resultados fueron solo la muestra del gran esfuerzo y el duro trabajo realizado en clase.
