History Y8 Nordelta. Juegos de mesa
Nordelta Secondary

We are thrilled to share with you the incredible achievements of our Year 8 History students from the Nordelta site, in their recent end-of-unit project centred around Ancient Rome. As part of their assignment, the students were invited to design their own board games to apply their knowledge about this fascinating historical period. We are truly impressed with the level of dedication, creativity, and critical thinking displayed by our students throughout this project!

They conducted research, gathered inspiration, and generated innovative approaches to create engaging board games. This project aimed to nurture their creativity and push their thinking beyond conventional solutions. After the board games were finished, each group had the opportunity to present their final product to the class and a game day was held where they had the chance to rotate among the different board games, playing and interacting with each other while engaging with the content of our Ancient Rome unit.

We would like to express our gratitude to the students for their dedication, enthusiasm, and outstanding efforts in bringing Ancient Rome to life through their board games. We also extend our appreciation to the families who supported the students throughout this project!
