Year 2 Visits the Tutankhamun Exhibition!
As we wrap up our latest Unit of Inquiry “A Long, Long Time Ago”, in which students explored Ancient Egypt to develop their conceptual understanding of civilisations and how societies change over time, our Year 2 students went on a captivating journey back in time with a visit to the Museum of the Treasures of Tutankhamun. It was a truly unforgettable experience!
It was fascinating to see the students so completely absorbed by everything they saw and learned. Walking through the exhibition, they had the unique opportunity to explore the incredible treasures found in the Pharaoh’s tomb, making brilliant real-world connections to what they have been inquiring about in the classroom.

Como cierre de nuestra Unidad de Indagación “Hace mucho tiempo atrás”, en la que los estudiantes exploraron el Antiguo Egipto para desarrollar su comprensión conceptual sobre las civilizaciones y cómo las sociedades cambian a lo largo del tiempo, los alumnos de Y2 realizaron un fascinante viaje al pasado con una visita a la Exhibición de los Tesoros de Tutankamón. ¡Fue una experiencia verdaderamente inolvidable!
Fue muy lindo ver a los estudiantes tan interesados y cautivados por todo lo que observaron y aprendieron. A medida que recorrían la exhibición, tuvieron la oportunidad de explorar los increíbles tesoros hallados en la tumba del faraón, estableciendo valiosas conexiones entre lo investigado en el aula y el mundo real.
Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros pequeños investigadores, quienes demostraron gran curiosidad a través de las excelentes preguntas y comentarios que compartieron durante toda la visita.
