At Northlands, primary education (ages 6 to 11) encourages each student to become a confident, curious and responsible individual.
With a holistic approach and a rigorous academic curriculum, we combine innovative teaching methods with a stimulating environment that fosters both personal and academic growth. We prepare our students to face the challenges of an ever-changing, globalised world with confidence.

Educating future leaders and critical thinkers for a global society.

A Dynamic and Bilingual Educational Approach

Our primary education is framed within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), a transdisciplinary model that connects subject areas such as mathematics, science, technology, the arts, languages and sport through inquiry-based units and action-oriented learning. This approach develops both critical and creative thinking skills while promoting values such as empathy, respect for diversity, global awareness and citizenship.
In a bilingual context, pupils not only achieve fluency in English and Spanish, but also develop advanced communication skills, deep comprehension and reflective thinking.

Beyond the Curriculum

Through our educational programme, pupils experience transformative learning that enhances their curiosity, creativity and autonomy.

  • Inquiry and Transdisciplinary Projects: They explore complex topics from multiple perspectives, connecting concepts and applying practical skills to solve real-world problems.

  • Personalised Development: We support each pupil by respecting their pace, interests and talents. We prioritise self-esteem and independence, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

  • Values and Global Citizenship Education: We foster teamwork, empathy and respect for diverse viewpoints, preparing pupils for an interconnected world.

  • Education for Sustainability: From environmental projects to sustainable initiatives, pupils understand their impact on the world and learn to act responsibly.

  • Life Skills: We teach study strategies, time management and autonomous learning, equipping them with the tools needed to face future challenges with confidence.
