Olivos & Nordelta – September 2020
September 11th was Teachers’ Day, a chance to thank our teachers for all the hard work and love they put into supplying our students with the academic, personal, and social skills to succeed in everything they do. We are especially thankful this year, due to the new and challenging circumstances that our teachers have endured. To celebrate this day, our Northlands teachers collaborated on a humorous video that illustrates the challenging year our teachers have had.
The students, meanwhile, worked to put together messages, cards, pictures, and videos to express their love and gratitude. The Year 1B class of Primary Olivos shared the video they made for all teachers. We will be adding more as we receive them, so make sure to come back here for more videos!
Primary Nordelta took the time to make a heartfelt video of memories and moments spent together between Staff, Students and Families.
In Secondary Olivos, a few Year 12 students worked within the framework of Teachers’ Day, and made a presentation on Sarmiento’s influence in the public libraries of today. Their presentation can be found here.
We hope you enjoy a peek into our Teachers’ Day celebration. Northlands wishes every teacher a very happy Teachers’ Day. Thank you!
