Sport Fest

Saturday, April 5th, the school’s fair brought us together for a special event where sport became a bridge for solidarity. Strength, grit, and enthusiasm were put in the service of a common cause, showing that sports are about much more than just a score.

Y4 Hockey:

It was a very special day where our students understood that the most important thing was the charitable cause and that hockey was simply the excuse to make it happen.

Eight teams were formed, each with their own name and uniform. They were given the freedom to choose their positions and organize their substitutions, with our help. This task was carried out in a very positive atmosphere without any issues.

The morning unfolded with great matches and lots of enthusiasm.

We highlight the commitment, teamwork, and joy shown by all the teams.

Y5 Hockey:

We had almost perfect attendance; the students arrived wearing the shirts we had agreed upon in class, ready to enjoy the event with all their classmates. Although some groups were happier than others with their teams, everyone understood the importance of focusing on the charitable cause rather than the sporting results. Luckily, we were able to talk it over with the students, and we greatly appreciate their excellent attitude, which strongly showed that they carry the school’s motto in their hearts.

Y6 Hockey:

Saturday’s event was filled with camaraderie and joy. The main activity was a series of hockey matches where the students formed their own teams spontaneously and without conflict, showing great teamwork and sportsmanship. Enthusiasm was a constant throughout the day, with matches full of laughter, humor, and commitment. Beyond the results, the main goal was to share a good time for a good cause — and without a doubt, it was achieved. It was a weekend full of positive energy, strengthening bonds among participants and proving that sport can also be a powerful tool for helping and uniting.

Y4 Rugby:

A fantastic sports day was enjoyed this Saturday.

Many happy and excited faces made their way to the rugby fields, ready to enjoy a beautiful morning among friends.

Four teams were formed (Australia, Pumas, South Africa, and All Blacks).

We had three very intense rounds where we saw many skills, positive attitudes, and a lot of fair play.

Final Results:

1st Place: South Africa
2nd Place: All Blacks
3rd Place: Pumas
4th Place: Australia

Y5 Rugby:

An excellent day with the Y5 students. 26 students participated, and we formed four teams (Pumas, All Blacks, Springboks, and Wallabies). We highlight everyone’s eagerness to participate, especially those who joined us for the first time in the Saturday activities.

Y6 Rugby:

The Y6 Rugby Fest had a great turnout, with 23 students representing international teams and competing against each other. We played two rounds, and the results were:

Pumas – 1st (1 win, 1 draw)
Australia – 1st (1 win, 1 draw)
New Zealand – 3rd (1 win, 1 loss)
South Africa – 4th (2 losses)

The matches featured very dynamic rugby since there were no fixed formations, and several students showed improvements in different aspects of their game, developing their skills and strengthening teamwork.

We closed the day with a more formal match, 10 vs 10, with positions and formations, where we saw lots of teamwork and a strong desire to defend their own try line.

El sábado 5 de abril, la kermesse del colegio nos reunió en una jornada especial donde el deporte se transformó en un puente de solidaridad. La fuerza, la garra y el entusiasmo se pusieron al servicio de una causa común, demostrando que también el deporte es mucho más que un score.

Y4 Hockey: Se vivió una jornada muy especial donde nuestras alumnas entendieron que lo más importante era el fin solidario y que el hockey era la excusa para llevarlo a cabo.

Se armaron 8 equipos , cada uno con su respectivo nombre y uniforme , tuvieron la libertad de ponerse los puestos y de organizarse con los cambios con nuestra ayuda. Esta tarea se desarrolló en un clima muy ameno y no produjo inconvenientes.

La mañana fue transcurriendo con muy buenos partidos y mucho entusiasmo .

Destacamos el compromiso, el compañerismo y la alegría en todos los equipos .

Y5 Hockey: Tuvimos una asistencia casi perfecta, los chicos vinieron con las remeras que habíamos pautado en clase y dispuestos a disfrutar del evento con todos sus compañeros. Si bien es cierto que algunos grupos estaban más contentos que otros con sus equipos, todos entendieron que era importante poner el foco en la cuestión solidaria más que en el resultado deportivo. Por suerte todo lo pudimos charlar con los chicos y valoramos la excelente actitud que han tenido demostrando con mucha fuerza que llevan el lema del colegio en el corazón.

Y6 Hockey: El sábado se llevó a cabo una jornada, en la que se vivió un clima de compañerismo y alegría. La actividad principal fue una serie de partidos de hockey, donde las chicas armaron sus propios equipos de manera espontánea, sin conflictos, demostrando gran compañerismo y espíritu deportivo.El entusiasmo fue protagonista a lo largo de la jornada, con partidos llenos de risas, humor y compromiso. Más allá del resultado, el objetivo principal fue compartir un buen momento por una buena causa, y sin duda se logró. Fue un fin de semana lleno de energía positiva, donde se reforzaron los lazos entre los participantes y se demostró que el deporte también puede ser una herramienta para ayudar y unir.

Y4 Rugby: Gran jornada deportiva se vivió este sábado.

Muchas caras de felicidad y entusiasmo se iban acercando a las canchas de rugby con el espíritu de disfrutar una hermosa mañana entre amigos.

Se realizaron 4 equipos (Australia, Pumas, Sudáfrica y All Blacks)

Fueron 3 fechas super intensas donde se vieron muchas destrezas , actitud positiva y mucho fair play.

Los resultados fueron los siguientes:

1ª Puesto: Sudáfrica

2ª Puesto: All Blacks

3ª Puesto: Pumas

4ª Puesto: Australia

Y5 Rugby:

Excelente jornada con los chicos de Y5. Asistieron 26 alumnos con los que conformamos 4 equipos (Pumas, All Blacks, Springboks y Wallabies). Destacamos las ganas de participar que tuvieron todos, especialmente aquellos que se acercaron por primera vez a la actividad que proponemos los sábados. Los resultados fueron los siguientes:

Y6: Rugby: Rugby Fest para Y6 tuvo una linda convocatoria, se presentaron 23 alumnos que representaron a un seleccionado internacional para competir entre ellos. Pudimos llevar a cabo 2 fechas y los resultados fueron:

Pumas 1ro (con 1 PG 1 PE)

Australia 1ro (con 1 PG 1 PE)

New Zealand 3ro (1 PG 1 PP)

Sudáfrica 4to (2 PP)

Se jugó un rugby muy dinámico, ya que no hubo formaciones fijas y varios alumnos mostraron mejoras en diferentes aspectos de su juego, desarrollando sus destrezas y fortaleciendo el juego en equipo.

Por último cerramos con un partido más formal, con posiciones y formaciones, 10 vs 10 donde se vió mucho juego en equipo y ganas de defender el ingoal propio.
