Provincial Stage of the Ñandú Mathematical Olympiad - Trip to Mar del Plata 2026

As has become a tradition in the Ñandú Mathematical Olympiad journey, this year the Provincial Stage took place in Mar del Plata. At Northlands, we had the honour of travelling with 17 students from Y5, Y6 and Y7 from Olivos and Nordelta.
After successfully completing the different stages of the competition throughout the year, our students were invited to take part in this important Provincial Stage, where they had the opportunity to share the experience with students from different schools across the Province of Buenos Aires.

During the competition, they embraced the challenge of solving complex mathematical problems, putting their problem-solving strategies, logical reasoning, creativity and perseverance into practice. But the trip was about much more than the competition: they shared ideas and strategies, took part in recreational mathematical activities, enjoyed spending time together and, of course, also had some time to enjoy the beach.

We are extremely proud and happy with these results, which reflect the enthusiasm, commitment and effort of our students and their teachers.
Beyond the recognitions, we would especially like to congratulate all 17 students who took on this challenge, enjoyed the experience and continue to push themselves to improve every day.
We would also like to thank the families and teachers who supported and accompanied them throughout this journey.
