Primary Interhouse
Y4 GIRLS
It was truly a celebration. Initially, the weather seemed uncooperative, but soon enough, the sun joined us fittingly for the occasion.
The four houses organised themselves perfectly, setting up stalls, cheering on their teams during breaks and accommodating changes so that everyone could play and have fun. A high level of hockey and a lot of enthusiasm were evident.
Families supported as always, joyfully and attentive to any kind of assistance. Congratulations!
Y4 Boys:
A beautiful day filled with joy and enthusiasm for representing their house. All teams gathered on a well-prepared field to enjoy a rugby party. Before warming up, goals for the day were discussed and then we quickly got into gear.
As soon as the ball started rolling, smiles turned into seriousness and concentration, with each player giving their all for their house. Throughout the morning, not only beautiful plays and tries were seen but also acts of solidarity and fair play among the different teams. At the end of the activity, a summary was given, highlighting the positives and reinforcing some points to work on.
I want to congratulate all the players for their commitment and desire to improve.
Y5 Girls:
An excellent day, enjoying sports in harmony and with friends. All houses were full of energy, eager to participate and help. They organised the stalls themselves, considering the tastes and interests of all participants. An extra applause to all the parents who joyfully accompanied us all morning.
Y5 Boys:
A tremendous day we got to enjoy with the Y5 boys. The vibe and positive energy everyone brought helped counter the chilly morning. After a brief team meeting, where each team warmed up and strategised, we kicked off the event. There were intense matches with passages of great play. The result ended up being anecdotal and we appreciated the high attendance we had as a group. We left happy!
Y6 Girls:
The morning started cold, but luckily, the sun came out and accompanied a great hockey day.
During the week, we worked together to assemble two evenly matched teams and it was a success. Everyone could enjoy the games, give their best effort and cheer for their house. There was a lot of house spirit, even down to painting hair!!!
Truly a day where the values of friendship and service, effort, commitment and fun were the protagonists.
Y6 Boys:
Saturday, June 18th, very cold, foggy and the fields were prepared for rugby. Y6 players gradually arrived and after a general meeting to start the Interhouse, each team began warming up and shaping their playing positions.
The matches started very evenly, with a lot of nervousness and as the event progressed, students relaxed and started playing as a team, more relaxed and in many cases, improvements in individual skills of several players were seen.
The matches ended, we cleared our heads of positive and negative results and we made a closing together, highlighting better skills and individual decision-making and congratulating those players who changed houses to join the one that didn’t have enough players to play.
In the end, we set ourselves the goal of continuing to train with enthusiasm to finish our rugby stage in the best way and have a great sports tour.
Y4 GIRLS
Realmente se vivió una fiesta, en el comienzo el clima parecía no estar a la altura pero inmediatamente nos acompañó con un solazo acorde a la ocasión.
Los 4 houses se organizaron perfectamente, pusieron puestos, alentaron a sus equipos cuando tocaba descansar y accedieron a los cambios para que todas jugaran y se divirtieran . Se vió un muy buen nivel de hockey y mucho entusiasmo.
Las familias acompañaron como siempre con alegría y atentas a cualquier tipo de ayuda. FELICITACIONES !!!
Y4 Boys:
Una hermosa jornada repleta de alegría y entusiasmo por representar a su house. Se dieron cita todos los equipos en un campo bien preparado para disfrutar de una fiesta a puro rugby. Previo a la entrada en calor se habló de los objetivos para el día y rápidamente nos fuimos a calentar los motores.
Ni bien la ovalada comenzó a girar las caras de felicidad se transformaron en seriedad y concentración en donde cada jugador dejó todo por su house. A lo largo de la mañana no solo se vieron hermosas jugadas y tries sino también acciones solidarias y fair play entre los distintos equipos.Sobre el final de la actividad se realizó un cierre resumiendo los aspectos positivos de la actividad y reforzando algunos puntos a trabajar.
Quiero felicitar a todos los jugadores que se dieron cita por su compromiso y deseo de superación.
Y5 Girls
Excelente jornada, disfrutando del deporte en armonía y con amigos. Todos los houses con mucha energía, con muchas ganas de participar y tratando de ayudar. Se organizaron los puestos solitas teniendo en cuenta los gustos e intereses de todas las participantes. Y un aplauso extra para todos los padres que nos acompañaron con alegría toda la mañana.
Y5 Boys
Tremendo día el que nos tocó disfrutar con los chicos de Y5. La onda y la buena vibra que le pusieron todos sirvió para combatir la helada mañana. Después de una breve reunión por equipos, en los que cada uno entró en calor y diagramaron las estrategias de juego, dimos comienzo al evento. Se vieron partidos disputados y con pasajes de muy buen juego. El resultado terminó siendo anecdótico, y valoramos la altísima asistencia que tuvimos como grupo. Nos fuimos felices!
Y6 Girls
La mañana empezó fría pero por suerte salió el sol y acompañó una gran jornada de hockey.
Durante la semana trabajamos juntas en el armado de dos equipos parejos y fue un éxito. Todas pudieron disfrutar de los partidos, dar su mejor esfuerzo y alentar a su house. Se vio mucho house spirit, mucho color hasta en la pintura del pelo!!!
Realmente un día donde los valores de friendship and service, esfuerzo, compromiso y diversión fueron los protagonistas.
Y6 Boys
Sábado 18 de Junio, muy frío, neblina y las canchas preparadas para jugar rugby. De a poco fueron llegando los jugadores de Y6 y luego de una reunión general para dar inicio al Interhouse cada equipo comenzó su entrada en calor y darle forma a las posiciones de juego..
Los partidos empezaron muy parejos, con mucho nerviosismo y a medida que transcurría el evento los alumnos se relajaron y empezaron a jugar en equipo, más distendidos y en muchos casos ví mejoras en destrezas individuales de varios jugadores.
Terminaron los partidos, relajamos la cabeza de resultados positivos y negativos e hicimos un cierre entre todos, donde resaltamos mejores destrezas y toma de decisiones individuales y felicitamos a aquellos jugadores que cambiaron de house para sumarse al que no llegaba al número para jugar.
Al final nos pusimos como objetivo seguir entrenando con entusiasmo para terminar nuestra etapa de rugby de la mejor manera y tener una gran gira deportiva.
