Excellent attendance, lots of participation, joy and enthusiasm, thank you boys, girls and families for the support and investment in these healthy and significant training proposals.
Y5 Boys – Northlands vs St. Mark’s SI – Saturday March 23rd
Last Saturday we received our friends from SMSI, for an amazing morning. We got to stand 2 teams on the field, and ended up playing about 4/5 games each. After a slow start in which we struggled to put into practice what we’ve been training, we fought back into our game, and managed an incredible performance.
It’s fair to say that we have a long way to go until we reach our peak, but we know we are on the right track!
Excelente convocatoria, mucha participación, alegría y entusiasmo, gracias chicos, chicas y familias por el apoyo y la inversión en estas propuestas tan sanas y significativas en la formación.
Y5 varones – Northlands vs St. Mark’s SI – Sábado 23 de marzo
El sábado pasado recibimos a nuestros amigos de SMSI, para una mañana increíble. Logramos poner 2 equipos en el campo y terminamos jugando alrededor de 4/5 partidos cada uno. Después de un comienzo lento en el que luchamos por poner en práctica lo que hemos estado entrenando, recuperamos nuestro juego y logramos una actuación increíble. Es justo decir que tenemos un largo camino por recorrer hasta alcanzar nuestro máximo rendimiento, ¡pero sabemos que estamos en el camino correcto!
Secondary
Softball
It was a great softball day, with a large turnout and a lot of enthusiasm to play! Y7 & Y8 played a game together, they were very motivated, did a great job as a team, helping each other understand the game even better. There were very good plays both in defense and in attack.
Y9 and Y10 worked together, alternating between modified games and batting exercises. They also had to be attentive to sector changes to perform dynamically and end the session with a great formal game where good plays were seen, including double plays and big hits.
Hockey Y7
All the girls who don’t play in clubs participated. Great turnout. They were very motivated to play the match against Michael Ham. A very evenly matched level, but we stood out for our attitude on the court and effectiveness.
Softball
Fue una gran jornada de softball, mucha concurrencia y muchas ganas de jugar!
Y7 & Y8 jugaron un partido juntos, estaban muy motivados, hicieron un gran trabajo en equipo, ayudándose unos a otros a entender aún más el juego. Hubo muy buenas jugadas tanto en defensa como en ataque.
Y 9-10 trabajaron juntos, dónde se intercalaron juegos modificados y ejercicios de bateo. También tenían que estar atentos a los cambios de sector para realizarlo en forma dinámica y terminar la jornada con un gran juego formal donde se vieron buenas jugadas, incluyendo doble play y grandes batazos.
Hockey – Y7
Participaron todas las chicas que no juegan en club. Gran asistencia.
Estaban muy motivadas por jugar el partido contra el Michael Ham.
Un nivel muy parejo, pero nos destacamos por la actitud en la cancha y la efectividad.
