Green Patrol joined the 2025 Solidarity Kermesse
This year, the Primary schools of Olivos and Nordelta added a very special stand to the Kermesse: the Green Patrol! 🌍💚
The activity invited families to build cars and flying rockets using recyclable materials — some collected in advance by students and some generated during the event. Two simple, accessible and super fun designs!
The project brought together the maker mindset, explored in Design and Technology lessons, with the Green Patrol’s values of reducing, reusing and recycling. ♻️✨
Green Patrol members from both campuses joined forces: they put on their green vests, enthusiastically guided visitors as they made their toys, and helped collect recyclable waste throughout the day.
It was an experience full of creativity, environmental awareness, teamwork… and loads of fun! 🎉🌎
Este año, las primarias de Olivos y Nordelta sumaron un stand muy especial a la Kermesse: ¡el espacio del Green Patrol! 🌍💚
La propuesta invitó a las familias a construir autos y cohetes voladores utilizando materiales reciclables —una parte recolectada previamente por los estudiantes y otra generada durante el evento—. Dos modelos simples, accesibles y súper divertidos.
La actividad conectó la mentalidad “maker”, trabajada en Design and Technology en las primarias, con los valores de reducir, reutilizar y reciclar que impulsa el Green Patrol. ♻️✨
Los miembros del Green Patrol de ambas sedes participaron juntos: se pusieron sus pecheras verdes, guiaron con entusiasmo a quienes se acercaban a construir sus juguetes y colaboraron activamente recolectando residuos reciclables durante toda la jornada.
Fue una experiencia que combinó creatividad, conciencia ambiental, trabajo en equipo… ¡y mucha diversión! 🎉🌎
