First Spanish Immersion Gathering
Our Spanish Immersion programme supports international students who are still developing their Spanish skills, helping them integrate into their new environment while fostering both linguistic and cultural growth. As part of this initiative, we held our first gathering to welcome the international students joining the programme and support them in their adaptation to the school community.
Each student created a collage to share a bit about themselves—their interests, home country, or anything that represents them. They then shared their collages with the group, making it a fun way to start conversations and learn from one another.
This gathering was a fantastic first step in building connections and ensuring that everyone feels at home in this new community. We look forward to the journey ahead! 🌟🤝✨
Nuestro programa Spanish Immersion acompaña a los estudiantes internacionales que aún están desarrollando sus habilidades en español, ayudándolos a integrarse en su nuevo entorno mientras fomentan su crecimiento lingüístico y cultural. Como parte de esta iniciativa, realizamos nuestro primer encuentro para dar la bienvenida a los alumnos internacionales que se suman al programa, acompañándolos en su adaptación a la comunidad escolar.
Cada estudiante creó un collage para mostrar un poco sobre sí mismo: cosas que les gustan, su país de origen o aquello que los representa. Luego, los compartimos con el grupo, lo que fue una forma divertida de iniciar conversaciones y aprender unos de otros.
Este encuentro fue un gran primer paso para construir conexiones y hacer que todos se sientan como en casa en esta nueva comunidad. ¡Estamos emocionados por todo lo que vendrá! 🌟🤝✨
