Y4 Hockey
It was a long-awaited Saturday for our Y4 students. Although they started off feeling a bit nervous, that quickly turned into joy as they overcame the dayโs challenges.
Two competitive teams represented the school. While they were originally scheduled to play three matches, adjustments to the fixture led them to play six consecutive games, with virtually no rest.
Despite the demanding schedule, they displayed outstanding gameplay and excellent physical condition, clearly standing out among the other schools. Families present also greatly appreciated the teamโs performance.

Y4 Rugby
This Saturday was a special one as we took part in the ADE, an event that brings together the 26 schools in the association with their top competitive teams.
We began the day with a talk about our goals, followed by a warm-up ahead of our first match against Moorlands. It was a very dynamic and entertaining game, with several tries in our favor.
Final score: Northlands 35 โ Moorlands 25
Our second match was against SGQ, where the team dominated from the start.
Final score: Northlands 40 โ SGQ 10
Finally, we faced M. Ham, a strong and well-known team. Despite a close match and a great defensive effort, one of their fastest players broke through near the end to score the winning try.
Final score: Northlands 15 โ M. Ham 20
Highlights: the teamโs effort, commitment, and constant drive to improve.
Areas for improvement: better use of space to take advantage of gaps in the opposing defense.
Y5 Rugby
We enjoyed a fantastic morning of rugby, with lots of players and schools participating. Each match was played with great energy and enthusiasm.
Our main goal was to put into practice everything we had been working on over the past few weeks.
In attack, we aimed to move the ball quickly into open space.
In defense, we focused on applying pressure to stop the opponent from gaining ground.
Not only did we accomplish both objectives, but we also had a great time doing itโhelping us raise our level even more.
Well done, everyone! Letโs keep it up and finish the rugby season on a high note.

Y4 Hockey
Fue un sรกbado muy esperado por nuestras alumnas de Y4. Aunque comenzaron con algo de nervios, rรกpidamente se transformaron en alegrรญa al superar los distintos desafรญos del dรญa.
Se presentaron dos equipos competitivos que, si bien tenรญan previsto jugar tres partidos, debido a ajustes en el fixture terminaron disputando seis encuentros consecutivos, prรกcticamente sin descanso.
A pesar de esta exigencia, mostraron un nivel de juego sobresaliente y un gran estado fรญsico, destacรกndose ampliamente ante los demรกs colegios. Las familias presentes tambiรฉn valoraron mucho el desempeรฑo del equipo.

Y4 Rugby
Este sรกbado fue especial, ya que participamos del ADE, evento que reรบne a los 26 colegios de la asociaciรณn con sus equipos mรกs competitivos.
Comenzamos con una charla sobre los objetivos del dรญa, seguida de una entrada en calor para enfrentar nuestro primer partido contra Moorlands. Fue un encuentro muy entretenido, con mucho dinamismo y varios tries a nuestro favor. El marcador final fue Northlands 35 – Moorlands 25.
Nuestro segundo partido fue frente a SGQ, donde el equipo dominรณ desde el comienzo. El resultado fue Northlands 40 – SGQ 10.
Finalmente, enfrentamos a M.Ham, un equipo fuerte y conocido. A pesar de un partido parejo, y un gran esfuerzo defensivo, sobre el cierre escapรณ uno de sus jugadores mรกs rรกpidos, marcando el try de la victoria: Northlands 15 – M.Ham 20.
Para destacar: el esfuerzo, compromiso y deseo de superarse en cada partido.
รreas de mejora: ocupar mejor los espacios para aprovechar los huecos de la defensa rival.
Rugby Y5
Disfrutamos de una gran maรฑana de Rugby con muchรญsimos jugadores y colegios. Cada partido se jugรณ con mucha energรญa y entusiasmo.
El objetivo era aplicar todo lo que habรญamos practicado en las รบltimas semanas.
En ataque, querรญamos mover la pelota rรกpido hacia los espacios libres. En defensa, buscรกbamos presionar para que el rival no ganara metros.
No solo logramos cumplir con ambos objetivos, sino que ademรกs lo hicimos divirtiรฉndonos mucho, lo cual nos permitiรณ elevar aรบn mรกs nuestro nivel.
