ADE Tournament Y4 & Y5
Y4 Girls
An excellent day! We formed 2 teams and played 3 matches each against Moorlands, Barker, and Bede’s, showing a very good level of play and increased group concentration in decisive moments. It was also noticeable that both teams were very united both on and off the field and had a lot of fun. Families accompanied us all morning, cheering non-stop and happy to see their daughters enjoying themselves. CONGRATULATIONS!
Y5 Girls
Beautiful morning where the group continued to strengthen and unite as a team. We played 3 matches, against Moorlands, Bede’s, and Barker, achieving very good results and playing each match a little better than the previous one. During free time, a strong bond was observed between the Nordelta and Olivos students, creating a great atmosphere to face the event. It was lovely to see them enjoying together, laughing out loud, focusing on playing, and families accompanying them every step of the way.
Y4 Boys
After several weeks of intense work and focusing on the rugby ADE, our students gathered at our sports field. After a brief discussion where we set objectives for the day, emphasising that fun would be our ally.
Our first challenge was against our counterparts from BDS, where our students took the initiative, scoring several tries and achieving a positive result. Northlands 25 BDS 0.
Our second objective was to improve on our previous performance, and this time we had to play against St. Alban’s. We knew their level was very good, and we couldn’t afford to give them an advantage, so from the beginning, we went out to seek the game where pressure and tackling were our priorities. The match ended very evenly Northlands 20 St. Alban’s 15.
Our last match was against Balmoral College. It was a very close match where each team gave their best, and neither could gain an advantage. After going into halftime tied, we worked to address some issues. After a team play, we managed to score, taking a slight lead. With 5 minutes left, they broke through and scored 2 tries on the wing. The match ended in their favor 10 to 5.
At the end of the event, there was a closing where feelings and lessons were shared. I want to congratulate all the team members for their effort and commitment to representing the school excellently.

Y5 Boys
After a week filled with anxiety and nervousness, the long-awaited day to represent the school at the ADE event finally arrived. We aimed to enjoy the event from the first minute, trying to implement the things we had been practicing all this time. The fixture determined that we would play against our counterparts from Belgrano Day School, St. Mark’s Monte Grande, and St. Mark’s San Isidro, with each match ending in a favorable result. Luckily, we had great support from all the involved families, making it a fantastic sports morning in the end.

Una jornada excelente!
Formamos 2 equipos y jugamos 3 partidos cada uno con Moorlands, Barker y Bede’s, demostrando un muy buen nivel de juego y una mayor concentración a nivel grupal en los momentos de definición. Se notó además a ambos equipos muy unidos tanto dentro como fuera de la cancha y mucha diversión .
Las familias acompañaron toda la mañana alentando sin parar y felices viendo a sus hijas disfrutar .FELICITACIONES!!

Hermosa mañana donde el grupo se fue afianzando y uniendo como equipo. Jugamos 3 partidos, con Moorlands, con Bede’s y con Barker obteniendo muy buenos resultados y jugando cada partido un poquito mejor que el anterior. En los tiempos libre se vio un gran nexo entre las alumnas de Nordelta y de Olivos, generando un gran clima para afrontar el evento. Fue muy lindo verlas disfrutar juntas, reírse a carcajadas, concentrarse para jugar y las familias acompañandolas en cada momento.
Y4 Boys:
Después de algunas semanas de trabajo intenso y con la concentración puesta en el ADE de rugby nuestros alumnos se dieron cita en nuestro campo de deportes.
Luego de una breve charla donde nos propusimos objetivos para el día en donde la diversión sería nuestro aliado.
Nuestro primer desafío era con nuestros pares de BDS en donde nuestros alumnos tomaron la iniciativa marcando varios tries obteniendo un resultado positivo. Northlands 25 BDS 0.
Nuestro segundo objetivo era mejorar lo realizado anteriormente y en esta oportunidad teníamos que jugar con St. Alban´s. Sabíamos que su nivel era muy bueno y que no podíamos dar ventaja, así que desde el inicio salimos a buscar el partido donde la presión y el tackle fueron los abanderados. El partido finalizó muy parejo Northlands 20 St. Alban´s 15. Nuestro último encuentro fue con el colegio Balmoral. Un partido muy parejo en donde cada equipo daba lo mejor de sí y no podían sacar ventaja. Luego de irnos al descanso empatados buscamos solucionar algunas cuestiones. Después de una jugada en equipo logramos marcar sacando una mínima diferencia. Faltando 5 minutos para el final ellos se escaparon por la punta marcándonos 2 tries. El encuentro finaliza a favor de ellos 10 a 5.
Al final del evento se realizó un cierre en donde se compartió sentimientos y aprendizajes.
Quiero felicitar a todos los integrantes del equipo por su esfuerzo y compromiso por representar de una manera excelente al colegio.

Después de una semana de mucha ansiedad y nerviosismo, llegó el día esperado para representar al cole en el encuentro ADE. Nos propusimos disfrutar del evento desde el primer minuto, tratando de volcar las cosas que estuvimos practicando todo este tiempo. El fixture determinó que juguemos con nuestros pares de Belgrano Day School, St. Mark’s Monte Grande y St. Mark’s San Isidro; cerrando cada partido con un resultado favorable. Por suerte contamos con un gran apoyo de todas las familias involucradas, por lo que terminó siendo una gran mañana deportiva.
