A Journey of Inquiry and Action

A Journey of Inquiry and Action

As the PYP Exhibition approaches, our students are immersed in a meaningful journey of inquiry, building on everything they have learnt throughout their PYP experience.
This year, under the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves, students are exploring the central idea: “The interaction between cultures transforms the ways in which we express our identity.” Through their lines of inquiry, they are investigating how cultures interact, influence one another and shape the ways we express who we are through the arts, literature and performing arts.
Through their lines of inquiry, they ask questions, investigate, analyse information and bring their ideas to life through poems, murals, songs and other creative expressions. Working towards a shared goal, they develop essential skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking and research, while learning to listen to different perspectives and make decisions together.
Now, they are beginning to plan their action, connecting their learning with a meaningful contribution to the community of Jardín San Francisco.
The PYP Exhibition is an opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning, share their understanding and demonstrate how knowledge can inspire action. Their journey reminds us that learning goes beyond discovering answers: it is about making connections, taking initiative and making a difference.
