🤝 Learning Together: Y5 Olivos Exchange Experiences with Colegio Virgen del Carmen

Over the past few weeks, our Year 5 students have taken part in enriching exchange experiences with first and second grade students from Colegio Virgen del Carmen.
Y5C students participated in a collaborative art project using the styrofoam printing technique, while Y5B students took on the challenge of teaching a song, working alongside the younger children to create movements and choreography to accompany it. In both experiences, they were active participants in learning, collaboration, and leadership.
These encounters remind us that learning also means teaching, working together, and discovering all that we have in common with others.
Soon, it will be Y5A’s turn to take part in a Drama activity with third grade students, continuing this valuable partnership between our school communities.

Durante las últimas semanas, nuestros alumnos de Year 5 compartieron unos encuentros muy valiosos con alumnos de primer y segundo grado del Colegio Virgen del Carmen.
Los alumnos de Y5C participaron de una propuesta artística colaborativa utilizando la técnica de impresión con telgopor, mientras que los alumnos de Y5B asumieron el desafío de enseñar una canción, creando junto a los más pequeños movimientos y coreografías para acompañarla. Fueron protagonistas de experiencias de aprendizaje, intercambio y liderazgo.
Estos encuentros nos recuerdan que aprender también implica enseñar, colaborar y descubrir todo lo que tenemos en común con quienes nos rodean.
Próximamente, será el turno de Y5A, quienes participarán de una propuesta de Drama junto a alumnos de tercer grado, continuando este valioso proyecto de intercambio entre comunidades educativas.
