📚 Creative Reading at Home: Coat Hanger Book Reports! 📖

Year 5 students took part in a wonderfully creative project as part of their reading at home programme: the “Coat Hanger Book Report”. They selected a book from the library, planned their reading schedule, and analysed the different elements of the story.
The highlight was presenting their reports using coat hangers, which they decorated in original and artistic ways inspired by their chosen book. This was also a great opportunity to practise their communication and presentation skills.
This project not only sparked their creativity but also strengthened their reading comprehension and boosted their confidence in expressing themselves in front of others.

Dentro de su programa de Lectura en Casa, los estudiantes de Y5 participaron de una creativa actividad de “Análisis del Libro en Percha”. Esta consistió en elegir un libro de la biblioteca, planificar su calendario de lectura y analizar los distintos elementos de la historia.
El momento más especial fue la presentación de sus informes, exhibidos sobre perchas que intervinieron de forma artística y original según el libro elegido. En esta instancia, pudieron poner en práctica sus habilidades de comunicación y presentación.
Esta propuesta no solo despertó su creatividad, sino que también fortaleció su comprensión lectora y potenció su capacidad para expresarse frente a otros.
