Education USA Fair
It was a real pleasure to welcome the Education USA Fair to Northlands School, Olivos. Our Year 11 students had the opportunity to meet university representatives from the United States, learn about different academic pathways, and gain a better understanding of what it means to study internationally.
What made the experience particularly meaningful was the opportunity to extend the invitation to students from three other secondary schools. In keeping with Northlands’ motto, Friendship and Service, we were delighted to open our doors and share these opportunities with our wider educational community.
University fairs are much more than information sessions. They create spaces for dialogue, curiosity and informed exploration, allowing students to ask questions, discover possibilities and begin to envision their own journeys.
Fue un verdadero placer recibir la Feria Education USA en Northlands School, Olivos. Nuestros alumnos de Year 11 tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer a representantes de universidades de los Estados Unidos, informarse sobre diferentes opciones académicas y comprender mejor lo que significa estudiar en el extranjero.
Lo que hizo que esta experiencia fuera especialmente significativa fue la posibilidad de extender la invitación a alumnos de otras tres escuelas secundarias. En línea con el lema de Northlands, Friendship and Service (Amistad y Servicio), nos alegró mucho abrir nuestras puertas y compartir estas oportunidades con nuestra comunidad educativa más amplia.
Las ferias universitarias son mucho más que sesiones informativas. Generan espacios para el diálogo, la curiosidad y la exploración informada, permitiendo que los alumnos hagan preguntas, descubran nuevas posibilidades y comiencen a imaginar sus propios caminos.
