A Sky Full of Stars: Y1 Visits the Planetarium
As part of their Unit of Inquiry “How the World Works”, our Y1 students visited the Planetarium to continue exploring how human beings seek to understand how the universe works through different forms of exploration.
Throughout the unit, students have been investigating the sky as seen from Earth and learning about the main celestial bodies we can observe during the day and at night, including the Sun, the Moon and the stars.
The visit to the Planetarium offered them the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom and experience the wonders of the universe in an immersive and engaging way. They were able to observe the sky from a different perspective, make connections with what they had been learning and continue asking questions about the world beyond our planet.
It was a fascinating experience that encouraged our young inquirers to look up, wonder and keep exploring.

En el marco de su unidad de indagación “Cómo funciona el mundo”, nuestros alumnos de Y1 realizaron una salida educativa al Planetario para continuar explorando cómo los seres humanos intentamos comprender el funcionamiento del universo a través de diferentes formas de exploración.
A lo largo de la unidad, los estudiantes estuvieron indagando sobre el cielo visto desde la Tierra y aprendiendo acerca de los principales astros que podemos observar durante el día y la noche, incluyendo el Sol, la Luna y las estrellas.
La visita al Planetario les permitió llevar sus aprendizajes más allá del aula y acercarse a las maravillas del universo de una manera inmersiva y significativa. Pudieron observar el cielo desde una perspectiva diferente, establecer conexiones con lo trabajado y continuar formulándose preguntas sobre el mundo que existe más allá de nuestro planeta.
Fue una experiencia fascinante que invitó a nuestros pequeños indagadores a mirar hacia arriba, maravillarse y seguir explorando.
