We would like to especially recognise the team’s attitude, as they maintained their commitment, energy and determination to compete even in the most challenging moments. Their resilience and willingness to keep pushing forward reflect the spirit we strive to foster in all our teams.
Looking ahead, we will continue working on strategic aspects of the game while increasing the intensity required for short-format tournaments, where every minute is crucial.
🏉 Rugby
Our Senior team enjoyed a highly competitive day, facing strong opposition and demonstrating outstanding commitment in every match.
They opened the tournament with a convincing 19–0 victory over San Andrés B, displaying dynamic and effective rugby. They then faced Balmoral, one of the strongest teams in the competition, where the result was a 0–19 defeat.
The final match of the group stage ended in an exciting 12–12 draw against Moorlands. Qualification was decided through a penalty shootout, and this time the outcome was not in our favour.
Congratulations to all the players for the attitude, teamwork and commitment they demonstrated while representing the school throughout the day.
🏐 Volleyball Boys
The boys completed an excellent tournament, finishing in 5th place.
They began with a convincing 2–0 victory over Florida Day School. They then faced two highly competitive matches against Buenos Aires English High School and Moorlands, where they displayed an excellent level of play despite the results.
The team bounced back with a valuable 2–1 win over St. Margaret’s before finishing the tournament with a 2–0 victory against BDS B, securing fifth place.
We would like to highlight the group’s ability to stay united, adapt to every challenge and compete with determination until the very last point.

One of the team’s greatest strengths was their teamwork, commitment and the active participation of every player throughout the competition. As we look ahead, we will continue strengthening on-court communication, an essential skill for the team’s continued growth.
Every tournament represents much more than a sporting competition. It is an opportunity to put into practice values such as effort, perseverance, respect, resilience and teamwork. We congratulate all our students for representing Northlands with commitment, enthusiasm and pride, demonstrating that true growth is built through every training session, every match and every shared experience.

Queremos destacar especialmente la actitud del grupo, que mantuvo el compromiso, la energía y las ganas de competir aun en los momentos más difíciles. Esa fortaleza para seguir adelante refleja el espíritu que buscamos desarrollar en nuestros equipos.
Como próximos desafíos, continuaremos trabajando aspectos estratégicos e incrementando la intensidad de juego que requieren torneos con partidos de corta duración, donde cada minuto resulta determinante.
🏉 Rugby
Nuestro equipo Senior vivió una jornada muy intensa, enfrentando rivales exigentes y demostrando una gran entrega en cada partido.
Comenzó el torneo con una sólida victoria por 19 a 0 frente a San Andrés B, mostrando un juego dinámico y efectivo. Luego enfrentó a Balmoral, uno de los equipos más fuertes del certamen, donde el resultado fue adverso (0-19).
El cierre de la fase fue un emocionante empate 12 a 12 frente a Moorlands. La clasificación se definió mediante penales, instancia en la que esta vez el resultado no estuvo de nuestro lado.
Felicitamos a todos los jugadores por la actitud, el compañerismo y el compromiso con el que representaron al colegio durante toda la jornada.
🏐 Volleyball Boys
Los varones completaron un excelente torneo, alcanzando el 5.º puesto.
Comenzaron con una contundente victoria por 2-0 frente a Florida Day School. Luego afrontaron dos encuentros muy exigentes ante Buenos Aires English High School y Moorlands, donde demostraron un gran nivel de juego a pesar de los resultados.
El equipo supo recuperarse con una valiosa victoria por 2-1 frente a St. Margaret’s y cerró el torneo venciendo 2-0 a BDS B, asegurando el quinto lugar.
Destacamos la capacidad del grupo para mantenerse unido, adaptarse a cada desafío y competir con gran actitud hasta el último punto.

Uno de los aspectos más valiosos fue el trabajo en equipo, el compromiso y la participación de todas las jugadoras durante la competencia. Como desafío para los próximos encuentros, continuaremos fortaleciendo la comunicación dentro de la cancha, una herramienta fundamental para seguir creciendo como equipo.
Cada torneo representa mucho más que una competencia deportiva. Es una oportunidad para poner en práctica valores como el esfuerzo, la perseverancia, el respeto, la resiliencia y el trabajo en equipo. The hockey team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the group stage.

Thanks to these victories, the girls qualified for the knockout stage as the best second-placed team, a well-deserved recognition of their excellent performance during the opening phase of the tournament.
In the quarter-finals, they faced a strong St. Luke’s side, who secured a 4–0 victory.
Beyond the result, we would like to highlight everything the team has achieved throughout the first half of the season. Their commitment, attitude, dedication in every training session and ability to compete against strong opponents reflect the remarkable growth they have achieved as a team. Congratulations to all the players on an excellent first stage of the season!

The girls’ team once again demonstrated outstanding commitment and a highly competitive attitude throughout the tournament.
Beyond the results, we would especially like to recognise their collective effort, the support they showed one another and their willingness to embrace every challenge with enthusiasm and responsibility.
We will continue working to strengthen on-court communication and further develop our team play, both of which are essential for the team’s continued growth.

The boys enjoyed an unforgettable tournament, becoming the 2026 ADE Inter Volleyball Champions.
The competition began with a demanding match against St. John’s. In a closely contested game, Northlands won the opening set but eventually fell 2–1. Rather than becoming discouraged, the team used that experience as motivation to improve throughout the remainder of the tournament.
They then secured two convincing victories:
Northlands 2 – 0 Sworn
Northlands 2 – 0 BDS
These results earned them a place in the semi-finals, where they defeated St. Matthew’s 2–0 to book their place in the final.
The championship match brought Northlands face to face with St. John’s once again—the same opponent from the opening match. Sport always offers new opportunities, and this time the team demonstrated everything they had learned throughout the day.

Congratulations to all the players for their outstanding commitment, ability to learn and perseverance. They turned an opening defeat into an opportunity to grow, improve and ultimately achieve the tournament’s highest honour—a true example of resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Every ADE tournament reinforces that the true value of sport goes far beyond the final score. Competing, learning, overcoming challenges, representing the school with respect and enjoying the journey are experiences that contribute to both the personal and athletic development of our students. El equipo de hockey tuvo una destacada actuación durante la fase de grupos.

Gracias a estas victorias, las chicas lograron clasificar a la siguiente instancia como el mejor segundo equipo de la tabla, un reconocimiento al gran desempeño demostrado durante la fase inicial.
En los cuartos de final enfrentaron a St. Luke’s, un rival de gran nivel que se quedó con el encuentro por 4-0.
Más allá del resultado, queremos destacar el recorrido realizado por el equipo durante esta primera mitad del año. El compromiso, la actitud, el esfuerzo en cada entrenamiento y la capacidad para competir frente a rivales muy exigentes reflejan el crecimiento que las jugadoras vienen construyendo como grupo. ¡Felicitaciones a todas por una excelente primera etapa de la temporada!

El equipo femenino volvió a demostrar un gran compromiso y una excelente actitud competitiva durante toda la jornada.
Más allá de los resultados, destacamos especialmente el esfuerzo colectivo, el acompañamiento entre compañeras y la disposición para afrontar cada desafío con entusiasmo y responsabilidad.
Seguiremos trabajando para fortalecer la comunicación dentro de la cancha y consolidar el juego colectivo, aspectos fundamentales para continuar creciendo como equipo.

Los varones protagonizaron una jornada inolvidable, coronándose Campeones del Torneo ADE Inter 2026.
El torneo comenzó con un exigente encuentro frente a St. John’s. En un partido muy parejo, Northlands ganó el primer set, pero finalmente cayó por 2-1. Lejos de desanimarse, el equipo utilizó esa experiencia para crecer durante el resto de la competencia.
Luego llegaron dos sólidas victorias:
- Northlands 2 – 0 Sworn
- Northlands 2 – 0 BDS
Estos resultados les permitieron acceder a las semifinales, donde enfrentaron a St. Matthew’s, logrando una excelente victoria por 2-0 y asegurando un lugar en la final.
La definición volvió a enfrentar a Northlands con St. John’s, el mismo rival del primer partido. El deporte siempre ofrece nuevas oportunidades, y esta vez el equipo supo demostrar todo lo aprendido a lo largo de la jornada.

ADE Junior
🏉 ADE Junior Rugby | A Tournament of Growth and Commitment
Our Junior Rugby team delivered an outstanding performance at the ADE Tournament, finishing in 2nd place out of 16 participating schools. Throughout the day, the boys showed continuous improvement, growing from match to match in both defensive and attacking aspects of the game while establishing themselves as a true team.
During the group stage, they secured two important victories against Bede’s and St. John’s, along with a narrow defeat to St. George’s Quilmes. These results earned them qualification for the Gold Cup as runners-up in their group.
In the knockout stage, they once again demonstrated their excellent level of play, defeating Barker in the quarter-finals and Balmoral in the semi-finals before reaching the final against St. Alban’s, where they finished as runners-up.
We would like to congratulate all the players for the commitment, dedication and passion with which they represented Northlands. Throughout the tournament, they gave their all in every match, maintaining a positive attitude, a strong team spirit and a remarkable determination to improve.
Looking ahead, we will continue working on starting each match with maximum focus from the warm-up onwards, enabling the team to perform at its best from the opening whistle.

🏉 ADE Intermediate Rugby | Commitment, Growth and Learning
Our Intermediate Rugby team took part in the ADE Tournament hosted by St. George’s College Quilmes, enjoying a day of intense competition, learning and sporting development.
During the group stage, the students played three matches, earning two important victories against Bede’s School and St. Luke’s College, along with a narrow defeat to St. George’s College. These results secured their place in the Gold Cup quarter-finals, where they faced St. Matthew’s College.
In this match, the team delivered an excellent first-half performance, successfully implementing their game plan and taking the lead. Despite their tremendous effort and the intensity of the match, they were unable to maintain that level in the second half and ultimately suffered defeat.
Beyond the final result, we would like to highlight the attitude and commitment with which our students represented Northlands throughout the tournament. Every match provided an opportunity to further develop technical and tactical skills, strengthen decision-making under pressure and reinforce essential values such as respect, perseverance, responsibility and teamwork.
As we look ahead, we will continue creating more opportunities for collective training sessions to strengthen the team’s performance and support its ongoing development.
Congratulations to all the players for their commitment, enthusiasm and dedication in every match. We are proud of the journey they continue to build and firmly believe that every sporting experience is a valuable opportunity to grow, learn and enjoy the game alongside their teammates.
ADE Rugby Junior | Un torneo de crecimiento y gran compromiso
Nuestro equipo Junior de Rugby protagonizó una excelente actuación en el Torneo ADE, alcanzando el 2.º puesto entre 16 colegios. A lo largo de la jornada, los chicos mostraron una evolución constante, creciendo partido a partido tanto en los aspectos defensivos como ofensivos y consolidándose como un verdadero equipo.
Durante la fase de grupos obtuvieron dos importantes victorias frente a Bede’s y St. John’s, y una ajustada derrota frente a St. George’s Quilmes. Estos resultados les permitieron clasificar a la Copa de Oro como segundos de su grupo.
En la instancia eliminatoria demostraron nuevamente su gran nivel de juego, venciendo a Barker en cuartos de final y a Balmoral en semifinales, para disputar una gran final frente a St. Alban’s, donde obtuvieron un destacado segundo lugar.
Queremos felicitar a todos los jugadores por el compromiso, la entrega y la pasión con la que representaron a Northlands. Durante toda la competencia dejaron todo en cada partido, sosteniendo una actitud positiva, un fuerte espíritu de equipo y una enorme voluntad de superación.
Como próximo desafío, continuaremos trabajando para comenzar cada encuentro con el máximo nivel de concentración desde la entrada en calor, favoreciendo que el equipo pueda desplegar su mejor versión desde el inicio de cada partido.

🏉 Rugby Intermediate | Compromiso, crecimiento y aprendizaje en el Torneo ADE
Nuestro equipo Intermediate de Rugby participó del Torneo ADE, organizado por St. George’s College Quilmes, viviendo una jornada de intensa competencia, aprendizaje y crecimiento deportivo.
Durante la fase de grupos, los alumnos disputaron tres encuentros, logrando dos importantes victorias frente a Bede’s School y St. Luke’s College, además de una ajustada derrota ante St. George’s College. Estos resultados les permitieron clasificar a los cuartos de final de la Copa de Oro, donde enfrentaron a St. Matthew’s College.
En este encuentro, el equipo mostró un excelente nivel de juego durante el primer tiempo, logrando imponer su propuesta y obtener una ventaja en el marcador. En la segunda mitad, pese al enorme esfuerzo del grupo y a la intensidad del partido, no logró sostener ese rendimiento, finalizando el encuentro con una derrota.
Más allá del resultado, queremos destacar la actitud y el compromiso con los que nuestros alumnos representaron a Northlands durante toda la jornada. Cada partido fue una oportunidad para seguir desarrollando habilidades técnicas y tácticas, fortalecer la toma de decisiones bajo presión y consolidar valores esenciales como el respeto, la perseverancia, la responsabilidad y el trabajo en equipo.
Como próximos desafíos, continuaremos generando más instancias de entrenamiento colectivo que nos permitan fortalecer el funcionamiento del equipo y seguir potenciando su desarrollo.
