Nordelta Y3 Assembly
As part of their Unit of Inquiry “How We Organize Ourselves”, Year 3 students had the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and become true Risk-takers by sharing their learning journey with their families during their assembly.
Throughout this unit, students explored how societies create institutions to organise life in a community, investigating concepts such as democracy, participation, rights, responsibilities, institutions and their functions. They developed a deeper understanding of how communities work and how each person can contribute to making them better.
Through this experience, students demonstrated not only their knowledge, but also important IB Learner Profile attributes. They were Risk-takers by sharing their learning with confidence, Communicators by expressing their ideas clearly, and Caring members of the community by recognising the importance of participation and responsibility.
It was a wonderful celebration of learning, where Year 3 students showed that learning is not only about what we know, but also about how we share, collaborate and make meaningful connections with others.
Como parte de su Unidad de Indagación “Cómo nos organizamos”, los alumnos de 3.° año tuvieron la oportunidad de salir de su zona de confort y convertirse en verdaderos Audaces al compartir su proceso de aprendizaje con sus familias durante su Assembly.
A lo largo de esta unidad, los estudiantes exploraron cómo las sociedades crean instituciones para organizar la vida en comunidad, investigando conceptos como democracia, participación, derechos, responsabilidades, las instituciones y sus funciones. Desarrollaron una comprensión más profunda de cómo funcionan las comunidades y cómo cada persona puede contribuir a mejorarlas.
A través de esta experiencia, los alumnos demostraron no solo sus conocimientos, sino también importantes atributos del Perfil de la Comunidad de Aprendizaje del IB. Fueron Audaces al compartir su aprendizaje con confianza, Buenos Comunicadores al expresar sus ideas con claridad, y miembros Solidarios de la comunidad al reconocer la importancia de la participación y la responsabilidad.
Fue una maravillosa celebración del aprendizaje, donde los estudiantes de 3.° año demostraron que aprender no se trata solo de lo que sabemos, sino también de cómo compartimos, colaboramos y establecemos conexiones significativas con los demás.
