⭐✨ When Wishes Lead the Way — A Magical Musical Journey ✨⭐
On June 11 and 12, Brightman Hall was transformed into a vibrant world of dreams, music, and pure inspiration as our Olivos EP2 students took to the stage to bring this year’s production to life.
Over 200 talented students captivated the audience, filling the theatre with their unique spark, energy, and passion. Beyond the outstanding artistic display, the musical served as a powerful platform where learning and personal growth came together.
Through this collaborative experience, our young performers truly put the PYP Learner Profile into action. Months of rehearsals allowed them to develop and demonstrate key attributes such as creativity, risk-taking, and open-mindedness, showing incredible resilience and teamwork both on and off the stage.
The story left the community with a profound and inspiring message: Our dreams and choices are the compass that guides our future. By taking ownership of their roles, whether in the spotlight or supporting their peers, our students beautifully reflected the essence of student agency, turning a creative challenge into a memorable milestone in their educational journey.
We are immensely proud of our EP2 students for their dedication, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the teachers, staff, and our amazing Northlands community whose continuous support made this magical journey possible.
Los pasados 11 y 12 de junio, el Brightman Hall se transformó en un vibrante mundo de sueños, música y pura inspiración, cuando nuestros alumnos de EP2 de Olivos subieron al escenario para dar vida a la producción de este año.
Más de 200 talentosos estudiantes cautivaron a la audiencia, llenando el teatro con su chispa única, energía y pasión. Más allá del destacado despliegue artístico, el musical funcionó como una poderosa plataforma donde el aprendizaje y el crecimiento personal se fusionaron.
A través de esta experiencia colaborativa, nuestros jóvenes artistas pusieron verdaderamente en acción el Perfil de la Comunidad de Aprendizaje del PEP (PYP). Los meses de ensayo les permitieron desarrollar y demostrar atributos clave como la creatividad, la audacia y la mentalidad abierta, dando muestra de una increíble resiliencia y trabajo en equipo tanto dentro como fuera del escenario.
La historia dejó en la comunidad un mensaje profundo e inspirador: Nuestros sueños y elecciones son la brújula que guía nuestro futuro. Al empoderarse de sus roles —ya sea sobre el escenario o apoyando a sus compañeros—, nuestros alumnos reflejaron maravillosamente la esencia de la agencia del alumno, transformando un desafío creativo en un hito memorable de su camino educativo.
