➗ Northlands, Host for the Inter-school Round of the Argentine Mathematical Olympiad (OMA) Ñandú ➗

This year, we experienced a very special milestone: for the first time, Northlands had the honour of hosting the Inter-school Round of the Argentine Mathematical Olympiad (OMA) Ñandú, in which Y5, Y6 & Y7 students participate.
In addition to the more than 80 Northlands students who enthusiastically took part, we welcomed students from Lincoln, Centro Cultural Italiano and San Gregorio to our Secondary Library to sit for the competition. At the same time, some Northlands students also participated at the Tarbut School.
It was a wonderful day filled with concentration, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for Mathematics. Students not only had the opportunity to challenge themselves academically, but also to meet peers from other schools, share new experiences and take on the role of hosts by opening the doors of their school to the local community.
As a school, we are very proud to continue promoting experiences like these, which foster meaningful learning, logical thinking and a love for knowledge. 💙

Este año vivimos un momento muy especial: por primera vez, Northlands tuvo el orgullo de ser sede anfitriona de la Toma Interescolar de las Olimpiadas Matemáticas Argentinas (OMA) Ñandú, en la que participan estudiantes de Y5, Y6 & Y7.
Además de los más de 80 estudiantes de Northlands que se animaron a participar, recibimos en nuestra biblioteca de Secundaria a alumnos de los colegios Lincoln, Centro Cultural Italiano y San Gregorio, quienes se acercaron a rendir el certamen. A su vez, algunos alumnos de Northlands también participaron desde la sede del colegio Tarbut.
Fue una jornada en la que se vivió un hermoso clima de concentración, entusiasmo y pasión por la matemática. Los estudiantes no solo tuvieron la oportunidad de desafiarse académicamente, sino también de compartir con otros chicos, conocer nuevas experiencias y ejercer el rol de anfitriones, abriendo las puertas de su escuela a la comunidad local.
Estamos muy orgullosos de como colegio seguir promoviendo este tipo de propuestas que fomentan aprendizajes significativos, el pensamiento lógico y la motivación por el conocimiento. 💙
