💬 Student Voice in Action: Olivos Primary Student Council

Last week, we held our first Student Council meeting. Class Representatives had the opportunity to get to know one another and begin building a sense of teamwork and shared responsibility within the group.
During the meeting, we also began planning upcoming initiatives. Bullying Prevention Day is approaching, and it will be marked with a Primary assembly on Tuesday 5th at 12:30, followed by continued work on this topic in PSE lessons.
In addition, our Student Council will share that a SPEAK UP box will be placed in Reception as a channel for students to communicate concerns or important situations that may need attention.
Finally, they will be in charge of organising how each year group will take care of shared spaces, promoting the idea of leaving classrooms better than we found them, in line with our school motto of Friendship and Service.

La semana pasda, llevamos a cabo nuestro primer encuentro de Student Council. Los Class Representatives tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerse entre sí y comenzar a construir un sentido de equipo y responsabilidad compartida dentro del grupo.
Durante la reunión, también comenzamos a planificar algunas iniciativas próximas. Se acerca el Bullying Prevention Day, que será acompañado por una asamblea de Primaria el martes 5 a las 12:30, y luego se continuará trabajando el tema en las clases de PSE.
Además, nuestro Student Council comunicará que se colocará un buzón SPEAK UP en Recepción como un canal para que los alumnos puedan compartir inquietudes o situaciones importantes que necesiten ser atendidas.
Por último, estarán a cargo de orrganizar como cada grado cuidadrá del orden de los espacios compartidos, promoviendo la idea de dejar las aulas mejor de lo que las encontramos, en línea con nuestro lema de Friendship and Service.
