Breaktimes Reloaded: new games and lots of fun at break time in 2026!

We have started a new school year at Olivos Primary and we are very happy to be together again and to share school life once more.
In addition to classes and learning inside the classroom, there is a moment of the day that students look forward to with great excitement: break time!
This year we continue enjoying the classic games in our playground and field, such as football, handball, four square, jump ropes and elastics. But we have also added new options to make recess even more fun: more foosball tables, the traditional sapo game, and the ping pong table, which has already become a favourite for many students. We have also introduced Strike 360, a dynamic and exciting game that students from different year groups are already enjoying.
Another much-loved space is our library. There, in addition to finding books to read, many students choose to enjoy a quieter recess playing chess, cards, Guess Who?, sudokus, pick-up sticks, jacks and other board games.

Comenzamos un nuevo ciclo escolar en la Primaria de Olivos y estamos muy felices de reencontrarnos y volver a compartir la vida escolar juntos.
Además de las clases y los aprendizajes dentro del aula, hay un momento del día que los chicos esperan con mucha emoción: ¡los recreos!
Este año seguimos disfrutando de los clásicos de nuestro patio y canchas, como fútbol, handball, four square, sogas y elásticos. Pero también sumamos nuevas propuestas para hacer los recreos aún más divertidos: más metegoles, el tradicional juego del sapo y la mesa de ping pong, que ya se convirtió en un favorito de muchos. Además, incorporamos Strike 360, un juego muy entretenido que ya están disfrutando los chicos de los distintos grados.
Otro espacio muy querido por los chicos es nuestra biblioteca. Allí, además de encontrar libros para leer, muchos eligen disfrutar de recreos más tranquilos jugando ajedrez, cartas, ¿Quién es quién?, sudokus, palitos chinos, payanas y otros juegos de mesa.
