Y6 Trip to Mendoza – An Unforgettable Experience
Last week, our Year 6 students, accompanied by members of the staff, enjoyed an unforgettable trip to the province of Mendoza. They explored spectacular landscapes, embraced adventure and experienced moments they will remember forever.
They went on a trekking excursion at the base of Mount Aconcagua, visited a historic mine in Uspallata and travelled through the Precordillera. They also took part in adventure activities such as rappelling, climbing and zip-lining. In addition, they enjoyed beautiful journeys by bus and by unimog, discovering the beauty and diversity of the Cuyo region.
It was a truly unique experience, where the values of friendship and service were present at every moment. A wonderful way for this very special group to close their Primary School years.
La semana pasada, nuestros estudiantes de Year 6, acompañados por algunos miembros del staff, vivieron un viaje inolvidable a la provincia de Mendoza. Recorrieron paisajes espectaculares, se animaron a la aventura y disfrutaron de experiencias que recordarán para siempre.
Desde un trekking por la base del Cerro Aconcagua, una visita a una mina histórica en Uspallata, un recorrido por la Precordillera, hasta actividades de aventura como rappel, escalada y tirolesas. Vivieron hermosos trayectos en micro y en unimogs, descubriendo la belleza y la diversidad del paisaje cuyano.
Fue una experiencia realmente única, en la que se vivieron los valores de amistad y servicio en cada momento. Un hermoso cierre de su etapa en la Primaria para esta camada tan especial.
