🎒 Sharing Our Learning Journey: Student-Led Conferences in Y1 OP

Last week, our Year 1 students welcomed their families into the classroom to kick off the Student-Led Conferences in our Primary School.
For 30 minutes, each student became the expert, proudly sharing all the learning they have built throughout the year: their written work, math strategies, inquiry discoveries, and personal achievements. They guided their families through different activities, explained their thinking processes, and even reflected on what they would like to continue improving.
Families were able to sit in their children’s seats, explore their work, and get a glimpse of what happens in the classroom each day — a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their growth and effort together. These instances empower students to take ownership of their learning journey, reconstruct it, communicate it, and ultimately value and consolidate it.
We are especially grateful to all the families for joining us and helping us create such a warm environment that celebrated learning and the growth of our students. And congratulations to our students for all their hard work throughout the year!

Compartiendo nuestro camino de aprendizaje: Student-Led Conferences en Y1 OP
La semana pasada, nuestros estudiantes de Year 1 recibieron a sus familias en el aula para dar comienzo a los Student-Led Conferences en nuestra primaria.
Durante 30 minutos, cada estudiante se convirtió en el experto, compartiendo con orgullo todo el aprendizaje construido a lo largo del año: sus producciones escritas, estrategias matemáticas, descubrimientos de indagación y logros personales. Guiaron a sus familias por distintas actividades, explicaron su proceso de pensamiento e incluso reflexionaron sobre aquello que quieren seguir mejorando.
Las familias pudieron sentarse en sus bancos, recorrer sus trabajos y conocer un poco de lo que sucede en el aula día a día, una gran oportunidad para celebrar juntos su crecimiento y esfuerzo. Estas instancias permiten que los estudiantes se apropien de su prcoeso de aprendizaje, logren reconstruirlo y comunicarlo para terminar de incorporarlo y ponerlo en valor.
Agradecemos especialmente a todas las familias por acompañarnos y ayudarnos a crear un clima tan cálido, de celebración de los aprendizajes y del crecimiento de los chicos. ¡Y felicitaciones a nuestros pequeños grandes alumnos de Y1 por todo su trabajo a lo largo de este año!
