🏅OMA Ñandú National Finals – La Falda, Córdoba 🏅

Last week, Year 5, 6, and 7 students from Olivos and Nordelta who qualified for the National Stage of the Ñandú Math Olympiad traveled to La Falda, Córdoba, for an unforgettable experience.

The students who represented Northlands were:
– Pedro Lefebvre (Y5 ND)
– Santiago González Luna (Y5 ND)
– Alfonso Martínez Carricart (Y5 OL)
– Camila Dorfman (Y5 OL)
– Martín Cassará (Y6 OL)
– Valentín Plaza Sergi (Y6 OL)
– Olivia Meyer (Y7 ND)

Over three days, they participated in different competition rounds, enjoyed math-based games, and shared activities with students from all over the country, in an atmosphere full of challenge, fun, learning, and friendship.
We are very proud to announce that Pedro Lefebvre received a Special Mention in Level 1, with an excellent result of 5 out of 6 correct problems, and that Santiago González Luna, Martín Cassará, and Olivia Meyer also earned mentions in their respective levels.
This achievement reflects not only their mathematical talent, but also their dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment—supported by the guidance of their teachers and families.
Beyond the results, we proudly congratulate all the students who reached the final stage of such a demanding competition, representing Northlands with teamwork, curiosity, and perseverance among participants from across the country.

La semana pasada, los alumnos de Year 5, 6 y 7 de Olivos y Nordelta que clasificaron al Certamen Nacional de la Olimpiada Matemática Ñandú viajaron a La Falda, Córdoba, para vivir una experiencia inolvidable.

Los estudiantes que representaron a Northlands fueron:

Durante tres días, participaron de instancias de competencia, disfrutaron de juegos matemáticos y compartieron actividades con niños y niñas seleccionados de todo el país, en un ambiente de desafío, diversión, aprendizaje y amistad.
Estamos muy orgullosos de anunciar que Pedro Lefebvre obtuvo una mención especial en el 1er nivel con un excelente resultado de 5 de 6 ejercicios correctos, y que Santiago González Luna, Martín Cassará y Olivia Meyer también recibieron menciones en sus respectivos niveles. Este logro refleja no solo su talento matemático, sino también su esfuerzo, entusiasmo y compromiso, junto con el acompañamiento de sus docentes y familias.
Más allá de los resultados, felicitamos con orgullo a todos los estudiantes que lograron llegar a esta etapa final de una competencia tan exigente, representando a Northlands con entusiasmo, compromiso y espíritu de equipo frente a participantes de todo el país. ¡Felicitaciones a todos por este gran logro! 👏💙
