An Afternoon of Art, Friendship and Service

On Thursday, October 23, in the afternoon, we had the great pleasure of welcoming the Year 2 students from Virgen del Carmen School, who shared a wonderful art activity with Year 5B.
Together, they created portraits using a special stamping technique, incorporating unusual elements to spark their creativity. It was heartwarming to see how our students showed genuine interest in getting to know their visitors, helping and supporting them with joy and kindness.
Beyond art, it was a truly mutually enriching experience, where both groups learned from one another while sharing, creating, and enjoying together — strengthening the values of friendship, empathy, and service that inspire us every day.

El jueves 23 por la tarde tuvimos el enorme placer de recibir a los alumnos de 2° grado de la Escuela Virgen del Carmen, quienes compartieron una hermosa jornada artística junto a Year 5B.
Durante la actividad, realizaron retratos utilizando una técnica especial de estampado, incorporando elementos inusuales para dar rienda suelta a la creatividad. Fue muy emocionante ver cómo nuestros alumnos se interesaron por conocerlos, acompañarlos y ayudarlos con entusiasmo y cariño.
Más allá del arte, fue una experiencia de intercambio y aprendizaje mutuo, donde ambos grupos se enriquecieron al compartir, crear y disfrutar juntos, fortaleciendo los valores de amistad, empatía y servicio que nos inspiran cada día.
