Y1 Nordelta visited the "Exploratorio de Ciencias de San Isidro"

In Y1, within the UOI How the World Works: Magic vs. Science, the central idea is: “Materials have properties that influence how they are used”. The students inquired into the materials we find in the world: their characteristics and properties; the relationship between the properties of materials and their possible uses; and force and its effects on materials. The students visited the San Isidro Science Exploratory, where they discovered that learning science can be fun. During the visit, the children learned about and conducted experiments on different types of energy and how they are transmitted through bodies, observed how light can alter images, and understood how air can support objects.

En Y1, dentro de la UOI Cómo funciona el mundo: Magia vs. Ciencia, la idea central es: “Los materiales tienen propiedades que influyen en cómo se usan”. Los alumnos indagaron sobre los materiales que encontramos en el mundo: sus características y propiedades; la relación entre las propiedades de los materiales y los posibles usos; y la fuerza y sus efectos en los materiales. Los alumnos asistieron al Exploratorio de Ciencias de San Isidro, donde descubrieron que aprender ciencias puede ser divertido. Durante la visita, los niños aprendieron y realizaron experiencias sobre distintos tipos de energía y cómo se transmiten a través de los cuerpos, observaron cómo la luz puede modificar imágenes y comprendieron cómo el aire puede sostener objetos.
