This fun event for the whole NORTHLANDS community will take place on Saturday 5 April, at our Nordelta site, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. In case of bad weather conditions, the event will be postponed to Saturday 12 April.
This fundraising event is focused and oriented to collaboratively lend a helping hand to our Service Projects under our constant “Friendship & Service” attitude. Also, this event is a space for all members of our NORTHLANDS Community to strengthen bonds between and to continue to inspire and spread the spirit of service.
In 2025, all proceeds will be donated to our Service Projects; focused on the allied schools we work with Chaco and Rosario del Tala, Colegio La Concepción, Jardìn San Francisco de Tigre & Colegio Virgen del Carmen.
DONATIONS: On the day of the event, bring non-perishable food to donate. All efforts to lower costs of the event translate into more money to donate to the projects. That is why we are calling for donations and discounts on: cuts of meat for the grill, meat for hamburgers, soft drinks, juices, water or any soft drink, bread for sandwiches, transportation for carrying materials between sites; various prizes for the raffles sold by the Secondary School students. Also napkins, ice-cream, ice and ice chests and gazebo rentals. For donations, contact ighiringhelli@northlands.edu.ar
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
– Admission will be open and free of charge. Feel free to bring friends and other families along.
– STANDS: Each year group/class (Primary and Kindergarten) is invited to organise their own games or food stand. They can be grouped by Year, Class, Level, Site, etc. to facilitate the organisation of the stand. We have already contacted Class reps in order to help with the coordination. In accordance with the school’s objective of taking steps towards a more sustainable world, we strongly encourage that stands or activities should remain simple and sustainable involving students in the making whenever possible.
Secondary students will set up their own stands as part of the service activities under the coordination of their PSE tutors.
