This was a very special week as we celebrated Literacy week. We had several moments in which we shared our love for reading. We started on Monday by visiting the Enebro Publishing House book fair that was set up at the school for the whole week. We were able to enjoy it with the teachers and then with our families. We heard wonderful stories told by a storyteller in our auditorium and also listened to amazing stories read by a parent from the community. One morning two Old Northlanders came and told us many anecdotes and what it was like to sleep over at school. Then, some secondary students went to read a really funny Roald Dahl story to both Y3. Also, the older grades went to read to the younger ones and shared the stories that each one had selected. To close, on Friday we were able to choose from several books for the teachers to read to us in different groups along with students from other grades. It was a wonderful week!
