Learning about the World of Robotics in Kindergarten!
Kinder 5 faced a new challenge in the Robotics workshop: helping our Mouse Robot to reach the cheese by programming the necessary commands. They started by observing how the blocks connect to create the robot’s path.
In teams, each child thought of and shared with their group a possible route for the robot, agreeing on movements and commands. They then designed an algorithm with cards, selecting and organizing the commands in the correct order.
With the algorithm ready, they programmed the robot and pressed the start button for it to execute the movements. While the robot moved, they observed whether it reached the goal and, if not, adjusted the algorithm to improve it. Besides, they explored different ways to reach the same goal, comparing their results to discover that there isn’t just one correct solution.
It is wonderful to see them apply prior knowledge and continue developing skills in programming, teamwork, and problem-solving while they enjoy the learning process!
Los niños de Kinder 5 se enfrentaron a un nuevo desafío en el taller de Robótica: ayudar al Ratoncito Robot a llegar al queso programando los comandos necesarios. Comenzaron observando cómo se conectan los bloques para crear el recorrido del robot.
En equipos, cada niño pensó y compartió con su grupo un posible camino para el robot, acordando los movimientos y comandos. Luego, diseñaron un algoritmo con tarjetas ilustradas, seleccionando y organizando los comandos en el orden correcto.
Con el algoritmo listo, programaron el robot y presionaron el botón de inicio para que ejecutara los movimientos. Mientras el robot se movía, observaron si alcanzaba el objetivo y, en caso de que no, ajustaron el algoritmo para mejorarlo. Además, exploraron diferentes maneras de llegar al mismo objetivo, comparando sus resultados para descubrir que no hay una única solución correcta.
¡Qué gusto verlos aplicar los conocimientos previos y continuar desarrollando habilidades en programación, trabajo en equipo y resolución de problemas, mientras disfrutaban del proceso de aprendizaje!
