Learning About Algorithms in Design and Technology! Y1 Nordelta

As part of their learning in Design and Technology, Year 1 students explored the concept of an algorithm, understanding how it works and how to apply it in real-life situations. To reinforce these concepts, they got hands-on with the Seesaw app, applying what they had learned in a creative way.
But that’s not all! They also used recycled materials to carry out a fun activity: building a tower by following precise instructions. Each step was an opportunity to practice logic and teamwork!
An experience that combines technology with creativity and structured thinking. Great job, everyone!

En el marco de su aprendizaje en Diseño y Tecnología, los alumnos de Año 1 exploraron el concepto de algoritmo, comprendiendo cómo funciona y su aplicación práctica en la vida cotidiana. Para afianzar estos conocimientos, pusieron manos a la obra en la app Seesaw, donde aplicaron lo aprendido de manera creativa.
¡Pero eso no es todo! También utilizaron materiales reciclables para llevar a cabo una actividad muy divertida: construir una torre siguiendo instrucciones precisas. ¡Cada paso fue una oportunidad para practicar la lógica y el trabajo en equipo!
