Historias que nos unen - Celebrando el Día del Respeto por la Diversidad Cultural

As part of the unit How We Express Ourselves and guided by the line of inquiry “Stories allow us to understand the ideas and beliefs of the people who created them,” the Year 3 students invited K5 to share a special learning experience. The purpose of the encounter was to continue strengthening the bond between Kinder and Primary, as Y3 students became narrators and guides. During the activity, they shared information about Indigenous peoples, explaining where they lived, what their customs were, and what made them unique. They also told traditional legends from these cultures, promoting respect for diversity and appreciation of different traditions.

En el marco de la unidad Cómo nos expresamos, y guiados por la línea de indagación “Los relatos permiten conocer las ideas y creencias de los pueblos que los crearon”, los alumnos de Year 3 invitaron a K5 a compartir una jornada especial de aprendizaje. El encuentro tuvo como propósito seguir fortaleciendo el vínculo entre Kinder y Primaria, mientras los estudiantes de Y3 se convirtieron en narradores y guías. Durante la actividad, compartieron información sobre los pueblos originarios, contando dónde vivían, cuáles eran sus costumbres y qué los hacía únicos. Además, relataron leyendas propias de esas culturas, promoviendo el respeto por la diversidad y la valoración de las tradiciones.
