HOCKEY
Summary
The aim of the day was to introduce and consolidate the students’ understanding of hockey, encouraging teamwork and enjoyment through friendly matches adapted to their technical development level. Each team had the opportunity to put into practice what they had learnt in their lessons, competing against other schools and fostering dynamism and full participation.
Highlights
The students displayed a great team spirit, supporting one another throughout the matches and celebrating their achievements together, which created a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Progress in their technical skills was evident, particularly in ball control and passing accuracy, showing a remarkable ability to adapt to the dynamics of the game. The day was highly enjoyable for everyone, with the students remaining enthusiastic and motivated throughout. The healthy sense of competition was reflected in their energy and in the evident enjoyment of physical activity.
Areas for improvement
We will continue to work on individual techniques so that the students can acquire more tools to apply in future matches. We also hope to have full attendance at the next events, as we are convinced that the best way to learn is through playing.
RUGBY
Summary
It was a wonderful and enriching morning of sport for our Year 3 pupils. We shared the day with our peers from SMSI, M. Ham (Vicente López) and St. Luke’s. From the outset, the aim was to enjoy the experience and continue developing skills specific to rugby. The true protagonists of the event were all the pupils who took to the field with great enthusiasm. Sporting results were secondary; the main highlight was the spirit of perseverance and teamwork.
Highlights
Our teams’ enthusiasm and commitment stood out, as well as the skills they displayed in each match.
Areas for improvement
We had hoped for a larger number of pupils to take part, so we will work towards achieving greater participation in future events.

Resumen
La jornada tuvo como objetivo introducir y afianzar a las alumnas en la dinámica del hockey, promoviendo el trabajo en equipo y la diversión mediante partidos amistosos adaptados a su nivel técnico. Cada equipo pudo poner en práctica lo aprendido en las clases, enfrentándose a otros colegios y fomentando el dinamismo y la participación de todas.
Para destacar
Las alumnas demostraron un gran espíritu de equipo, ayudándose mutuamente durante los partidos y celebrando los logros en conjunto, lo que generó un ambiente positivo y colaborativo. Se evidenció un avance en sus habilidades técnicas, especialmente en el control de la bocha y en la precisión de los pases, mostrando una notable capacidad de adaptación a la dinámica del juego. La jornada fue muy divertida y mantuvo a todas motivadas y entusiasmadas, con una competencia sana que potenció su energía y disfrute de la actividad física.
Oportunidades de mejora
Continuaremos fortaleciendo las técnicas individuales para que dispongan de más recursos en futuros encuentros. Asimismo, aspiramos a contar con la participación de la totalidad de las alumnas, convencidos de que la mejor forma de aprender es jugando.
RUGBY
Resumen
Fue una gran y enriquecedora mañana deportiva para nuestros alumnos de Year 3. Compartimos la jornada con nuestros pares de los colegios SMSI, M. Ham (Vicente López) y St. Luke’s. La propuesta, desde el inicio, fue disfrutar y seguir desarrollando habilidades propias del rugby. Los verdaderos protagonistas fueron todos los alumnos presentes, quienes vivieron la experiencia con entusiasmo. Los resultados deportivos quedaron en un segundo plano; lo más relevante fue el espíritu de superación y el trabajo en equipo.
Para destacar
Se destacaron las ganas y el compromiso de nuestros equipos, así como las destrezas demostradas en cada partido.
Oportunidades de mejora
Se esperaba una mayor convocatoria de alumnos, por lo que trabajaremos para lograr una participación más amplia en los próximos encuentros.
