Bocconi University

We had the privilege of welcoming Stefano Raimondi, representative of Bocconi University, to Northlands School Official. Bocconi is one of Europe’s leading institutions in the social sciences, offering outstanding programs in Economics, Finance, Management, Political Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Global Law.

We hosted a session with our Year 11 students who are interested in studying abroad and considering Europe as an option. The session was highly informative, Stefano explained the advantages of the IB Diploma, the different career paths, the application process, deadlines and additional examinations. Afterwards, he held individual interviews with two Y12 students that are applying to Bocconi, including two candidates from other schools. These meetings were extremely valuable, as he offered personalized advice on how and when to apply based on each student’s profile. Stefano’s generosity with his time and commitment to supporting students is remarkable. He also engaged with younger students at an information stand, answering their questions about Bocconi’s Summer School for secondary students.

Tuvimos el privilegio de recibir a Stefano Raimondi, representante de la Universidad Bocconi, en Northlands School Official. Bocconi es una de las principales instituciones europeas en ciencias sociales y ofrece programas de excelencia en Economía, Finanzas, Gestión, Ciencia Política, Ciencia de Datos, Inteligencia Artificial y Derecho Global.

Realizamos una sesión con nuestros estudiantes de Year 11 interesados en estudiar en el exterior y que consideran a Europa como opción. Fue una instancia sumamente informativa: Stefano explicó las ventajas del Diploma del IB, las distintas trayectorias profesionales, el proceso de postulación, los plazos y los exámenes complementarios. Luego mantuvo entrevistas individuales con dos estudiantes de Year 12 que están postulando a Bocconi, y también con dos candidatos de otros colegios. Estos encuentros fueron de enorme valor, ya que ofreció asesoramiento personalizado sobre cómo y cuándo postular según el perfil de cada estudiante. La generosidad de Stefano con su tiempo y su compromiso con el acompañamiento a los alumnos son notables. Además, interactuó con estudiantes más jóvenes en un stand informativo, respondiendo sus consultas sobre la Summer School de Bocconi para alumnos de secundaria.
