Avatars in Action: Design and Creativity at Every Step with Y4

Throughout this process, the children had the opportunity to create their own avatars, blending creativity, technology, and hands-on skills. Here’s how they did it:
First on paper: The students began by designing their avatars on paper, bringing their ideas to life in a physical form. Each child added a personal touch to their avatar, exploring shapes, colors, and unique details.
Exploring Tinkercad: Next, they ventured into the digital world using Tinkercad, an accessible and easy-to-use 3D design tool. There, the children transformed their designs into virtual avatars, learning about the possibilities of digital modeling and 3D creation.
The final touch with Craft Paper: Finally, to add an artistic and personal touch, the students created their avatars using craft paper. They used cut-outs, colors, and textures to bring their creations to life, and the result was spectacular!
This project not only stimulated creativity but also allowed the students to learn about design in different formats—from traditional to digital—integrating technology and crafts in a fun and educational way.

A lo largo de este proceso, los niños han tenido la oportunidad de crear sus propios avatares, fusionando creatividad, tecnología y habilidades manuales. Aquí te contamos cómo lo hicieron:
Primero en papel: Los estudiantes empezaron diseñando sus avatares en papel, plasmando sus ideas de forma física. Cada uno le dio un toque personal a su avatar, explorando formas, colores y detalles únicos.
Explorando Tinkercad: A continuación, se adentraron en el mundo digital utilizando Tinkercad, una herramienta de diseño 3D accesible y fácil de usar. Allí, los niños transformaron sus diseños en avatares virtuales, aprendiendo sobre las posibilidades del modelado digital y la creación en tres dimensiones.
El toque final con materiales reciclables: Finalmente, para dar un toque artesanal y más personal, los estudiantes crearon sus avatares con Materiales reciclables. Usaron recortes, colores y texturas para darle vida a sus creaciones, ¡y el resultado fue espectacular!
Este proyecto no sólo estimuló la creatividad, sino que también les permitió aprender sobre el diseño en diferentes formatos: desde lo tradicional hasta lo digital, integrando tecnología y manualidades de una manera divertida y educativa.
