17th August Assembly – Y6 Olivos

Last Monday, during the 17th August Assembly in commemoration of the Passing to Immortality of General José de San Martín, our Year 6 students delighted us with a wonderfully fun, creative and innovative proposal: a “talk show” called The San Martín Hour!
Through this engaging performance, they managed to bring history to the present, exploring and analysing the maxims that the General left as a legacy to his daughter. With great wit, they connected his teachings and values with situations from their own daily school life today.
Congratulations to Y6 teachers and students for their effort, creativity, and for giving us a moment that was as entertaining as it was thought-provoking. A true tribute, full of learning and emotion!

El pasado lunes, en el marco del Acto del 17 de agosto en conmemoración del Paso a la Inmortalidad del General José de San Martín, los estudiantes de Y6 nos sorprendieron con una propuesta divertidísima, creativa e innovadora: ¡un “talk show” llamado La hora de San Martín!
A través de su propuesta, lograron traer la historia al presente, explorando y analizando las máximas que el General dejó como legado a su hija. Con gran ingenio, conectaron sus enseñanzas y valores con situaciones de su vida cotidiana en la escuela hoy.
Felicitaciones a los docentes y estudiantes de Y6 por el esfuerzo, la creatividad y por regalarnos un momento tan divertido como reflexivo. ¡Un verdadero homenaje lleno de aprendizaje y emoción!
