Looms in Year 3

Looms in Year 3

Telares en Año 3

Primary Nordelta, July 2018 - What's going on?

This activity is based in the units “Productive Circuits” and “Myths and Legends”, in which the students inquired on the Mapuches in Patagonia, the Tobas in the Chaco region and the Guaraníes in the Litoral an Mesopotamia regions.
In Art they studied how the originary communities produced wool from the sheep’s hair and then knitted clothes using looms, clothes with which they protected themselves from the cold weather.
